Maestro Herry Singh, the founder of the Hamburg Sangeet Tabla Gharana, has dedicated over 35 years to mastering the tabla and classical music, studying under various esteemed gharanas. However, the Banaras Gharana holds a special place in his heart, as he had the privilege of learning from the legendary Ustad Kausar Ali, a renowned maestro and Lehyogi of the Banaras Gharana, was celebrated for his unparalleled command over the tabla and his deep understanding of rhythmic intricacies. It was his emmence desire to carry the legacy of Indian Classical Music specially the Tabla to the europe and under his guidance, Hamburg Sangeet Tabla Gharana was founded.
